Data Deletion
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. How to request deletion
To delete your account and personal data — including any data we received from a Meta product — email [email protected] from the address on your account and include:
- the email address on your Reelway account;
- your workspace address, if you know it; and
- your Facebook / Meta user ID or the name on the connected profile, if the request relates to Meta data.
We may ask you to confirm your identity before deleting anything. We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete it within 30 days.
2. Data received from Meta
If you signed in with, or connected, a Meta product (such as Facebook), you can also revoke Reelway’s access yourself in your Facebook account: Settings → Apps and Websites, then remove Reelway. When access is revoked or you ask us to delete your data, we delete the Meta user data we hold (such as your platform user ID, name, email, and profile picture) and stop requesting any further data.
3. What gets deleted, and what we keep
- Deleted from production systems within 30 days: your profile, credentials, tokens, workspace content you own, and any Meta-derived data.
- Removed from backups within a further 90 days as backups rotate.
- Retained where the law requires: limited invoice, payment, tax, and security-log records, kept only for as long as the obligation lasts.
- Not affected: content a studio holds about its own clients is controlled by that studio. If you are a client or reviewer, contact the studio, or email us and we will pass the request on.
Deleting a workspace removes its content (clients, projects, videos, files, comments, and invoices) for every member, so only the workspace owner can request it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; save anything you need first. Questions? Contact [email protected] or read our Privacy Policy.
